Making your Marriage commitment before God and in front of your loved ones  in Church  is one of the most important and exciting steps you can take in life.

Some questions people often ask are:

I am interested in getting married at St Martins. What do I do next?

When you have  decided you want a church wedding, the first thing to do is to come to church for a Sunday morning service at 10.30am  or contact the Vicar.

What are the legal requirements for getting married at St Martins?

If you live in our parish you must have your banns read out in church for three Sundays during the three months before the wedding.  If you do not live in the parish but would still like to get married at St Martins there are special rules, please talk to the Vicar.

One or both of us are divorced. Can we get married at St Martins
